Good Food Good Move Offers Valuable Wellness Information

CEDAR PARK, TX —Staying healthy has never been more important, and amid the coronavirus, or COVID-19 pandemic, families look for ways to eat well and move more as they shelter in place. Good Food Good Move is a resource offering individuals and families recipes, tips, and ideas for staying well. Part of the Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and managed by Texas Health and Human Services, Good Food Good Move works to improve the lives of eligible participants through healthy eating and active living.

Topics Include:

  • Healthy Kids: Teach your kids how to be healthy. It’s important for their mind and body!

  • Plan Meals: Learn how to shop smart and feed your family healthy meals on a budget.

  • Save Money: Learn the little things you can do while shopping that will result in big savings for you and your family.

  • Recipes & Cooking Basics: Tired of cooking the same thing day after day? Find new healthy recipes your family will love.

  • Let’s Move!: Make physical activity a part of your daily routine. Get tips for being active with your family and learn how to make it fun!

  • Live Healthy!: Good food and physical activity help you feel better and keep you healthy. Learn more about how to take steps today to stay well tomorrow.

  • Find Classes
