Jenna Jameson floored fans recently when she announced that she had stopped following the keto diet—and was considering quitting for good. But now the former keto superfan says she’s back at it.
“Eternal summer here in Hawaii!” Jenna captured a photo of herself from behind in a white strapless bathing suit. “So excited to go back to the mainland for a week soon! Update on #keto… I’m back on track and I’m taking you on my journey!” Jenna also shared photos and videos in her Instagram Stories of herself holding some yummy-looking deviled eggs, and cooking a rack of meat and several veggies in the oven.
People were excited about the update in the comments. “That’s exciting.. when I first started my keto journey I followed you .. you were a role model for me and still are,” one wrote. “Psyched you’re back on track! Inspire us!” another said. Plenty of others pointed out that Jenna still looks amazing, even though her previous post revealed she’d recently gained 20 pounds.
Jenna made a name for herself as a keto guru after she lost a whopping 80 pounds on the diet last year. She regularly updated fans on her progress on Instagram and shared jaw-dropping before and after pics.
But late last week, Jenna revealed that she had fallen off the keto diet, and gained 20 pounds as a result. “I decided to take a break from #keto and live my best carby life. The weight came back fast and furious,” she said on Instagram at the time. “I know a lot of people are quitting keto because it’s hard to maintain and after a year and a half I concur. Not sure if I’m going to go back full force or just calorie count.”
Apparently she’s back!
